Google has recently come up with another update on how email marketing would work by introducing its Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) in Gmail. This new and exciting feature in Google’s own email platform will now bring life to your emails making way for an even more exciting Gmail experience.

It’s a handy feature for users who have multiple tabs open and can get easily distracted. The new feature lets recipient RSVP an event, add pins to your pinterest account or even fill out a questionnaire without being redirected to a website.

With more than 270 billion emails sent in a Day (2017 stats), AMP would prove to be a much useful platform for maintaining a more personalized relationship with clients, simultaneously allowing them to access most of the site’s features via email only. But, AMPs in emails won’t ask users to share any personal data. For example, an AMP email sent by a travel booking website will only allow users to browse the various booking options available, but for making the final booking and payment, users will be redirected to the website. With AMP for email, you could respond interactively through a form without leaving the email conversation with the client.
Fresh Content each time you access your email:
Emails are considered as an authentic source to relay information and only when a confirmation has been sent via email, the authenticity of a document is established. This is the reason why most users depend upon emails for information regarding flights, events, news, online purchases and much more. This critical information will be automatically updated in AMP induced emails as and when it is updated, so that emails never get stale and content is accurate when a user looks at it.
Although AMP support has not yet been included in Gmail but it is available for developer’s preview. Access it by signing up as a developer through Google.
